Testing Your Setup
Step 5: Complete Testing
Enable Test Mode
- In dashboard, click "Test Mode" toggle in top right
- This ensures test data doesn't affect your real reports
- Test orders will be clearly marked as "Test"
Test Click Tracking:
- Copy the test Facebook ad URL from dashboard
- Open in new browser tab (or incognito window)
- Visit your store
- Return to Harper - should see test click within 5 seconds
Test Conversion Tracking:
- Still in test mode, place a test order on your store
- Use the test discount code if provided
- Complete the entire checkout process
- Return to Harper - conversion should appear within 30 seconds
- Click on the conversion to see full attribution details
🎉 All Tests Passed?
If you see both the test click and test conversion with attribution data, you're ready to go live!
Turn off Test Mode and Harper will start tracking all real traffic and conversions.
